He was the beloved husband of Mary C. Kennedy for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James and Anna Kennedy.
Michael had worked at Narragansett Electric for 38 years before retiring. He loved to watch the news, weather and the traffic reports, and was a novice handyman of sorts who loved fixing things around the house.
Along with his wife he leaves his loving children, Michael P. Kennedy and Colleen K. Walsh and her husband Matthew; and his cherished grandchildren Remington, Kaiden and Brayden Walsh. He was the brother of the late John “Jack” Kennedy and James Kennedy.
At his request, his funeral services and burial will be private. In Mike’s memory, please consider donating blood to the Rhode Island Blood Center.
