Born in Providence, Michael was the son of the late Robert and Kathryn (Adams) Lindemann. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and his master's degree from Rhode Island College. Michael dedicated more than 30 years to Warwick Public Schools, where he first served as a respected mathematics teacher before becoming a guidance counselor.
Michael had a passion for golf and was proud to be a founding member of the Pilgrim Golf League in 1989. He was also an avid Boston sports fan who rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He enjoyed simple pleasures, including breakfasts, movies, and laughter shared with his close friends.
Above all else, Michael treasured his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy came from supporting his children and grandchildren, whether from the sidelines of a sporting event or during life's everyday moments. His love, encouragement, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, Michael leaves his loving children, Michaela Lindemann Soctomah and her husband, Kevin, and John Parker Lindemann and his fiancée, Stephanie Doyle; his cherished grandchildren, Benjamin Soctomah and Norah Lindemann; and his brothers, Robert Lindemann and his wife, Karen, Peter Lindemann and his wife, Monika, and John Jeffrey Lindemann and his wife, Laurie. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, July 12, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. His funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
