

Born in Providence, Paul was the son of the late Vincent T. and Irene G. (McCaughey) Earnshaw. He was a devoted father to Susan Earnshaw and Emily Earnshaw, a cherished uncle to Keith Earnshaw and Allyson Earnshaw, and the loving brother of the late Vincent J. Earnshaw.
Paul was a graduate of St. Benedict Catholic School, Class of 1974, and Toll Gate High School and Warwick Vocational Technical Center (Automotive program), Class of 1978.
His strong work ethic began early, starting at age 13 with Confreda Farms, and continued through various automotive jobs including Fiore Pontiac. He retired in 2024 from a 35-year career as a repair technician with Sears.
His passion for cars and motorsports led him to follow the National Hot Rod Association, watching races most weekends.
A nature enthusiast, Paul found joy in fishing and kayaking around Narragansett Bay, and spending time outdoors among wildlife. One of his proudest personal accomplishments was hiking Mt. Washington numerous times, especially during the winter. He also served as President of the Buckeye Brook Coalition, reflecting his commitment to environmental stewardship.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick.
