Richard D. Ahern

Richard “Dan“ Ahern, 56, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly, on May 6, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Denise (Healey) Ahern. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James Joseph and Catherine Kenworthy (Walch) Ahern. Dan was employed as a Technician for the Overhead Door Company of Providence for 38 years. Besides his beloved wife of 34 years, he is survived by his son, Jacob Ahern, his granddaughter, Reyana Ahern, his sister, Pauline Landolfi, three brothers, John Ahern, Matthew Ahern, Christopher Ahern, and many friends and relatives. He was the father of the late Ryan Ahern. Visitation Sunday, beginning at 3 pm with a service to follow at 6 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Burial will be private.
