Richard Paul Loiselle

September 26, 1946 – July 26, 2025
Obituary of Richard Paul Loiselle
IN THE CARE OF

Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Homes

Richard Paul Loiselle, Navy veteran, 78, of Warwick Rhode Island passed away on July 26th 2025.

Born in Attleboro MA, he was the son of the late George & Estelle (Lussier) Loiselle, brother of the late Robert, Martin and Victor Loiselle and predeceased by his brothers George and Leo Loiselle.

Richard is survived by his son, Brent Loiselle and his daughter, Holly Loiselle & her husband Rick Oldrid. He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Dillon, Olivia, Jack, Drew, Evan, Vienna & Savanna.

Richard was a simple, quiet and kindhearted man. His love for his family ran deep. He would do anything he could to help, was reliable and always “on time” for everything.

He loved playing cards with his brothers and his son, boating, bowling, shooting pool, riding his Harley Davidson, his beloved dog Maggie & going out to lunch with his daughter.

Over the years, he developed a special bond with his youngest granddaughters Vienna & Savanna by teaching them how to tend to a garden, play board games and chess. He even gifted Vienna his cherished golden chess set.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. However, he will be especially missed by his daughter, Holly.

His visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Roger Williams Cancer Center, Providence, RI.
