

(Trudell) Dalmazzi. He was the loving brother of Anthony M. Dalmazzi, his wife Patricia, and
Paul J. Dalmazzi. He was uncle to Katelyn (Dalmazzi) Butterfield, her husband Trevor, and Sarah
Dalmazzi, and great-uncle to Malia, Mason and Carter.
He was loved and cared for by his second family, Joseph and Tara Silverman along with their
children Jacob, Ethan, Eli and George, Tara’s parents (Nannu and Ma), and their 3 dogs Tig,
Chewy and Mac.
Rob was a big-time Boston sports fan, with the Bruins and the Red Sox being his favorites. He
also liked watching golf. Rob bowled every Saturday and competed in the Special Olympics.
Rob was well-known for his love of Dick Tracy cartoons and enjoyed watching Johnny Quest,
Space Ghost, Birdman, and The Flintstones as well.
He was proud to show his American spirit and never missed voting on Election Day.
Rob was a long-time client of the J. Arthur Trudeau Center. From Cub Scouts to recreation
programs to Workshop to group home and finally Shared Living, Trudeau was a huge part of
Rob’s life. He made lifelong friendships with other clients and staff. It was at Trudeau that Rob
met Tara and Joe, the best friends he’d ever have.
Rob had such an infectious smile. It was so genuine it lit up the room. He had a great sense of
humor and loved seeing the reaction his actions had on others.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the
J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886.
