Born in Philadelphia, Tom moved with his family to Providence at an early age. Tom's love for baseball began in Little League and Babe Ruth, playing for teams in the Federal Hill area. He went on to play varsity baseball at Classical High School (Class of 1982) and continued his career playing at CCRI.
After high school, Tom worked in several nightclubs in downtown Providence before ultimately becoming the Beverage Manager at Foxwoods Casino. He later settled in Warwick, where he raised his two daughters. A dedicated volunteer softball coach, Tom spent countless hours on the field, sharing his love of the game and mentoring the next generation of players. Beyond sports, Tom had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, often capturing its wonders through his photography. He was a lifelong enthusiast of movies, music, history, and random facts; always eager to share stories of the past with anyone willing to listen. His wide-ranging interests and unwavering devotion to his family made him a beloved figure to all who knew him.
Tom’s happiest moments were spent cruising to local beaches with family and friends, windows down, music blaring, enjoying their time together. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
