Maureen A. Sam, a beloved mother, grandmother, fiancé, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to her. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John George Sam and Judy B. Mann.
Maureen was a beautiful soul whose smile could light up any room. She was friendly, kind to everyone she met, and had a heart of gold. Generous and deeply religious, Maureen had a genuine love for life and for the people around her. She cherished spending time with family and friends, and she especially loved dancing and listening to good music. She knew how to enjoy the simple moments and always brought warmth, laughter, and happiness wherever she went.
Family was everything to Maureen. Her beloved son, Roland Jennings IV, her granddaughter, Gianna Mae Jennings, and her fiancé, Brian McGill, were the center of her world and her greatest joys. She treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in the love they shared.
Maureen was the baby of the family and will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Richard Mann; sisters, Maria Steiper and Jacqueline Kumar; and by her many family members and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and generous spirit. She was predeceased by her siblings, John George, Jr., Quincy Sam, Ron Sam, and Shona Silva.
Maureen will be deeply missed, but her beautiful smile, loving heart, inspirational spirit, and unwavering love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and, most especially, through the family she cherished so dearly.
