I remember when we first met at NBC when I first started 17 years ago.  You were always kind and you taught me the ropes of the Company.  We had so many laughs, talks and busy days. I remember the first time I officially met you as Gerard’s girlfriend, obviously the family specifically Mrs Harris (aka aunt Shirley) knew you from before, but nonetheless I remember thinking BOY I hope my uncle doesn’t mess this up, because I COULDNT WAIT TO HAVE YOU AS MY AUNT! And soon enough, you got married. You have always been the life of the party and you have a heart of gold. You have always been so welcoming and constantly encouraging people to get up and dance and just spend quality time together. I always loved when you would get up and dance you would move your hands in a snake motion down your body and purse your lips out. You truly brought the girlie girl out of me - from my first make-up tutorial, to shopping sprees the many pairs of shoes, getting our nails done, to this day only white purse I own is the one you got me, you always showed me the way, including selfies. You were always taking PHOTOS ALWAYS taking PHOTOS. Man I would give anything for another selfie with you. Some of my favorite selfies include the one when I visited you are work in New york. During restaurant week I came down with my friends and you took us all out for lunch and showed us all around the city. I got to show my cool aunty off and on that trip we created core memories. My friends to this day always ask about you. I will always want to be like you and so grateful I got to call you my aunty. My forever Aunty. Everyday I will carry you, I will always make sure my outfits are on point, my nails are done, I’ll keep the blonde in my hair cause as you say blondes have more fun, and most importantly I will carry your generosity, kindness, laughter, and LOVE.  I hope to make you proud aunty. Rest in peace.

To all members of the Quesada/Martin family.   Please accept our most sincere condolences.  I remember Susan as a young mother proudly walking with her baby Anthony in Brooklyn.   So many lives touched at different times showing how small the world really is,  Susan got to know my daughter through her friendship with Anthony and then again through a friendship with the Aviles family.   May she rest in peace in the arms of our Savior and Lord  Jesus Christ.

Heaven gained an angel

Susan was an amazing manager and she brought so much joy to her job. She was a dedicated manager, but she made sure we had fun at work. She set up many fun events for us, such as an ice cream social. We are deeply saddened and will miss her. Rest in peace.

I will always cherish this memory of Ann me and Susan. This was our trim -a-tree in 2024  the first time I met Ann. WE had so many laughs together.  On this day I learned that Susie Loved Ann very much. Well needless to say I felt a little jealous lol. As the evening went along I actually understood why. Ann was an amazing friend to susan. Thank you Ann for a wonderful evening on that night.

We shared happy times together but we also shared not so happy times together, Such as life.  You brought me peace and happiness even when I thought I could not be happy. I will always cherish our friendship but more importantly I will always cherish you. You will forever live inside my HEART. I love you Susie Q.

Susan and Ann, Puerto Rican Thelma and Louise !

Laverne and Shirley, Thelma and Louise had nothing on Susan and Ann. We were sisters for 54 years — and yes, she would absolutely kill me for telling you how many years, because then you’d know she was older than 54.

No matter what Susan and I were doing, she was always full of energy and love. We could fight one minute and be laughing the next, smiling like nothing had happened. Our love was — and always will be — unconditional.

We spoke every single day, sharing every detail of our lives. There are things only Susan and I know… and they’ll stay that way.

She would sing like no one could hear her and swore she sounded just like Diana Ross. We laughed the same way we did when we were 10 — loud, silly, and without an ounce of shame. “Ain’t no mountain high enough…”

Our shopping sprees were legendary — marathons of laughter, fun, and convincing each other to buy absolutely everything in sight.

Susan, my heart is broken into a million pieces. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to live without you. But I can already hear your voice saying, “Get it together, woman!” So I’ll try my best.

I love you, and I will love you until we meet again — so we can sing at the top of our lungs, just like no one is listening.

Susan… love you, always and forever.

Susan’s kindness was as genuine as it was boundless. She carried a beautiful heart, always open to those in need. A few years ago, she quietly made a difference in the lives of several young women by donating prom dresses to a high school where many couldn’t afford one. But Susan’s care didn’t stop there. For one girl in particular, she bought a pair of shoes to complete her outfit — a simple gesture that made her feel seen, valued, and beautiful on a night she would never forget. Susan had a gift for turning moments into memories, and for those she touched, her kindness still lingers like a warm light.
