Paul "Rocky" Morneau
February 11, 1955 – May 27, 2018
Paul “Rocky” Morneau, 63
East Vassalboro - Paul “Rocky” Morneau, age 63, was received in God’s loving arms after suffering cardiac arrest on May 27th, 2018, in East Vassalboro, ME. He was born on February 11, 1955 in Waterville, ME to Leo Paul and Evelyn Duguay Morneau. He graduated from Waterville High School.
As a teenager and young man, Paul worked for his father’s lumber company, Morneau’s Lumber Mill, in East Vassalboro, ME. He later became involved in his father’s trout farm which they both loved immensely.
Paul will be remembered for his love of horses and music. He often talked about starting a horse therapy farm for children with special needs. He also enjoyed playing guitar which he often did at family gatherings and weddings.
More recently, Paul was known for his gift of visions. Because of these visions, people sought him out for his counsel and guidance. It was Paul’s intent to express what he was able to see and feel in his gifted visions to others through explaining to them their past, how it affected their spirit in the present, and how to see a different path to healing their spirit in the future. Paul realized his intent through the publishing of the website Walking In Spirit With Rocky. Paul is recognized and remembered by many in their testimonials on this website.
His family and friends will remember him as a very loving, kind and giving man. Paul is survived by Vivian Coughlin, his sister, of Winslow, ME; and his two nephews, Keith Coughlin of Woodstock, GA and Kevin Coughlin of Boston, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 26 Monument Street in Winslow, ME. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Vassalboro. Please visit www.veilleuxfuneralhome.com to share condolences, memories and tributes with his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that a memorial donation in Paul’s name be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

My heartfelt condolences to Vivian and her sons, Keith and Kevin, Paul's nephews.
Paul was a second cousin as well as a great friend. We spent a good number of years from the mid 80s onward hanging out at his home and the trout ponds. Though I relocated to Florida some 14 years ago, we managed to stay in touch periodically as time went by. I am very grateful to have had a good friend like Paul in my life back in those days.
I know he's now in eternal piece alongside his parents, Leo and Evelyn, who he cared for so deeply. Rest in eternal piece my friend.
