The matriarch of the Gonzales family, Beatrice (Zamora) Gonzales, left her earthly home on May 1,2021. Welcoming her to her heavenly home was husband of 60 years, Juan; parents Lucas and Concepcion Zamora, nine brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Tom; great-grandson, Austin; and granddaughter, Becky. She will be missed by her sister, Connie Zamora (Salt Lake City, Utah); and a legacy of love in her 17 children Janie, Ernie, Mary (Howard), Helen, Henri, Doris, Juan II (Melissa), Patricia, Mike (Dawn), Rose (Gary), Carmen (Glenn), Bill (Greta), Tina (Todd), Bobby, Anita, Missy (Aric), and Angie (Gabe); 37 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She began every day praying and reading the Bible. The love for her family was and will forever be remembered. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Until we see you again, dance with Dad and continue to keep watch and pray over us all.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at Wayland Christian Reformed Church - 303 E. Elm St., Wayland, MI 49348, with visitation from 12 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. We hold a very special place in our heart for Grandma Gonzales. She brightened our days with her warm smile and always had time to offer a genuine hello. Our fondest memory, was watching her enjoy her ice cream on her porch in the Summer.
We truly loved her, as our very own...
Sending much love and prayers to the family.
With our deepest sympathy,
Melissa, Cameron and Corbin Carnevale

Wishing Janie and the whole Gonzales family comfort at the loss of your dear mom. One of my very favorite memories was when I was in high school with Janie and attended what appeared to be a well organized (by mom I'm sure) birthday party at the Hill house with a long row of tables set up in the yard to accommodate all the family and guests and food! I was impressed!! It was amazing and wonderful!! I hope your photos and the corresponding memories will help you get through this time.

Sympathies to the entire Gonzales family on the passing of your beloved Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. I know she will be greatly missed. Like so many others, I have many memories of times at the Hill Lake house. Everyone who walked in the door was welcomed.
