Betty Geraldine Stevens

Betty Geraldine Stevens, age 93, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son, Claude Jeffery. She will be deeply missed by her children Dan (Barb) Stevens, Sherry (Kirk) VanNortwick, Bette (Nate) Woods; grandchildren Stacey (Don) Darrow, Amy (John) Brinks, Jessica (Joe) Pitcher, Glenn (Amber) VanNortwick, Kimberly (Brandon) Fritts, Steven Heintzelman, Brittney (Ben) Isbell, Danielle Farr, Jakob Woods, Miranda Stevens, Jeffrey Stevens; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Betty loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending as much time with them as possible, and enjoying holidays together with her family. She enjoyed playing card games, such as Euchre at the V.F.W. and was also named the Shuffle Board Champion at the V.F.W. At the young age of 72, she went parasailing in Mexico. She was always up for an adventure such as sailing from Grand Haven to Pensacola on the Mississippi River, boating on Gun Lake and partying with “the locals." She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Frontline Bible Church, 8283 Pfeiffer Farms Dr. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Betty will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In memory of Betty and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland. Betty was a very good hearted woman I would always call her my girl loves playing cards with her she was so funny I loved bringing her snacks and she really liked puffed pop her favorite my thoughts and prayers are with the family and betty who is in a much better place remember this she's happy where she is now 🤣😅 love Nancy

Betty, Sherry and I had so much fun drinking our 7 sevens and dancing the night away to Bob Seger Live Bullet album over and over again! I almost could not keep up with her! She always had a beautiful smile everyday. She made me laugh all the time! I love her so much and will miss her deeply! She will always be in my heart ❤💙💜. Rest in peace, peanut!! My favorite memory of Aunt Betty, her laugh, dancing around didn't matter with who. I loved listening to her and my mother laughing together, talking about causing trouble in the past. Will miss her beautiful spirit.
