After a long battle with cancer, Debra Suzette Felps-Tyler, age 58, passed away September 1, 2021 at her home in Wayland, Michigan, in the company of her loving husband, Tim. Debra was born April 5, 1963 in Fort Polk, LA to Jimmy N. Felps Sr. and Sheri G. (Hicks) Felps and grew up in Texas.
Before her illness, Deb enjoyed working with the public and worked as a cashier at various businesses in and around Wayland. Mostly, Deb enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her two great-grandsons. On December 27, 2007, Deb married Tim T. Tyler.
Deb is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Heath Felps; and daughter, Raven (Buck) Eye; granddaughter, Kaysea Felps; and great-grandsons Charlie and Jesse. She is also survived by her brothers Jimmy N. Felps Jr. and Chad Moore; and sister, Angie Moore - all from Texas.
Per Deb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial visitation from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. September 11, 2021 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland. The family welcomes memories and messages at kubiakcookwayland.com.

I never new Deb personally but I worked with Tim for the last 15 years and heard a lot about her challenges in the final few weeks of her life. He was a good man and a great husband and loved his wife more than anything in life.
