Dovie J. LeValley, age 52, of Shelbyville MI passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, October 18, 2013. She was born on July 3, 1961 in Aurora, CO to David H. and Delores F. (Whitmen) Shackley. Dovie had spent most of her working years doing housekeeping for various hotels and casinos. She enjoyed listening to 80's rock, spending time with family and going shopping with Sara. The children will miss the way she made each of them feel special to her no matter of the relationship. Survivors include: husband Robert LeValley, children Carl (Angel) Shackley, Keith (Shannon) LeValley, Kenneth (Kara) LeValley, Sara LeValley- Shackley, grandchildren Kenneth LeValley Jr., Arianna Shackley, Maelisa Shackley, brothers Danny (Connie) Shackley and David (Maria) Shackley. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Dovie's Life is planned for Saturday, October 26, 2013 1 pm at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home 312 N. Main St. Wayland, MI 49348.
