Ellen M. Simons

Ellen Simons (Kipen), age 78, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Edna Kipen; daughter, Cindy Simons Paasman; grandsons Clay Kaczanowski and Joe Gysin; the father of her children, Robert Kaczanowski; and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Butch Simons; children Annette (Al) Gysin, Dan (Brenda) Kaczanowski, Gary (Leighann) Kaczanowski, Brenda (Gary) Fordham, Patrick (Marci) Kaczanowski, Philip Kaczanowski, Jerry (Jodi Block) Simons, Annette (Bob) Dever, and Ken Simons; 36 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home - Dorr Chapel, 4330 - 18th Street, Dorr, MI. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1871 - 136th Ave., Dorr, MI 49323.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Ellen, contributions may be made to the St. Stanislaus Education Fund or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
