Geraldine Patricia Walker, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Wayland Monday, February 26, 2024. Geraldine, first and foremost, loved people and loved others. She had a heart of gold and a generous soul. She cherished her family and especially her three sons and time spent with them. Geraldine enjoyed traveling the globe, visiting Europe and most of the 50 states. She loved to laugh and her smile could light up a room. She will be deeply missed.
Geraldine will be remembered by her sons Lucas Walker, Evan Walker, Ethan Walker; siblings Charles (Connie) Stoddard, Karen (Brian) Gregersen, Sheryl Stoddard, Jim Stoddard; her four legged friend, Hendrix; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Pearl Stoddard.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Kubiak-Cook (Wayland Chapel), 312 N. Main St., Wayland, MI 49348. A private family graveside committal will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. In memory of Geraldine and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sylvia’s Place.
