Jim will be greatly missed by his community. Jim held a BA degree in psychology. He used his gifts and talents to counsel and mentor multiple young people who struggled with life feeling lost or abandoned. He strived to bring about change and usher love into their broken lives. His goal was to bring peace and stability. Jim served his neighbors and many communities through his carpet cleaning business – where he also had multiple opportunities to love others in service.
Jim has a family who loved him dearly, enjoying bonds with rich life experiences in nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed recreation opportunities on the lake where he lived, spending much time with church friends, neighbors, and family. Jim’s faith and trust in the Lord were evident by the way in which he believed that every day was a blessing from God. He brought great comfort to his family. We love you forever, Dad! We love you forever, Grandpa! You will be missed.
Jim is survived by daughters Ginger and Robin; and grandchildren Austin, Quinlynne, and Farah.
A private celebration of James life will happen at a later date. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.kubiakcookwayland.com in Jim's online guestbook.
