Janice Kay Haralson

Janice Kay (Pollie) Haralson, age 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Bea Pollie; step-daughter, Darlene Haralson; granddaughters Phoebe and Isabella. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Hosea Haralson Sr.; children, Hosea (Stephanie) Haralson Jr., John (Sydney) Haralson; grandchildren Alvertus, Demond, Brayden, Carissa, Brooklyn, Phoenix, Isaiah, Tatum, Willow; brother, Curtis (Marcia) Pollie and many extended family and friends.

Janice obtained her Master’s Degree in education and went on to teach for over 20 years at Grand Rapids’ Public Schools. In her spare time, she enjoyed music, specifically playing the piano, being outdoors and ice-skating. She also enjoyed traveling and going on camping trips with her family. But above and beyond everything else, she loved to take photographs.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323 with visitation from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
