I remember the Christmas and New Years parties where Her and sister Janet would dress up identical and their updo hair matched as well! I remember her beauty shop and she even straightened my curly hair once… I remember she loved fishing with Uncle Don and her bus driving days. She will be greatly missed. My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. From Maui, Hawaii Shannon VanderHeuvel, niece

Jeanette was the last of my sister's to pass away. She had a full life enjoying her family and friends, She always had a smile for you or a quick wit to make your day. May she rest in peace now.

I had the pleasure to care for Jan at her time at Thornapple Manor. When I tucked her in she always thanked me and said love ya kid.
Jan I sure will miss your sassy attitude, your stories about love and life. I hope you eat as much chocolate cake and shrimp you could ever imagine in heaven. ❤ You definitely lived life to the fullest.

I have many memories of Jan, from Childhood and through my adult years. Soo many to share, What memory i have that I hold near my heart, she always would tell me, Have a Goal in Life, stick to it, you are a Strong Woman and you can do anything you put your mind to. When I wanted to drive school bus, Jan gave me the $35.00 for my license, she was my bus driver through part Jr. High and all through High school. Jan was a Strong and Kind Lady.
Condolences to Don, Kay and families.
