May the angels welcome him to paradise.
He was certainly one of the best examples of Christian fatherhood...always caring, serving others and spreading joy. He was one of the best golfers I knew, hitting shots in the dark and knowing exactly where the ball landed...even though no one else could follow its track.
May his soul rest in peace and may God give strength to his family and all who mourn his passing from this earthly life.

Jimmie was a really great guy! I remember him always encouraging me when I took a job at Michigan Bell. He was a big teddy bear. My sympathy to the entire family. I know he will be missed.

Dear Kathy and family,
I have wonderful memories of you and Jim. I remember how I always called him Harry(Hairy) and I thought that was so funny. Jim was so good natured and would laugh.
Sending you love, support and prayers. 💔💗
Thinking of you all,
Sue

He was always intimidating on Ohio State vs Michigan football game days as we would banter back and forth and he would roar and come at me like a wrestler, but deep down he was a big teddy bear and would wrap his arms around me, smile, and say “Love ya, but Ohio State is gonna win!” Until we meet again Mr. Britton…Jimmie, love you!

I’ll always remember Jimmie either slicing the meat at dinners at the K of C Hall or taking the money or tickets for a dinner ! He’s like just part of the Shower of Roses Council a fixture like so many Knights before him . That smile and always greeting you. He will be missed. Prayers and Gods blessings on his family Giving you all hugs and prayers!💕🙏🏻

My deepest sympathies to the whole family. While we know this is the circle of life, it doesn't make it any better when the day finally comes. Prayers as you all continue to walk through life with now his absence, yet the many memories of your dad/husband/grandpa will live on.
