Joyce Elaine Mead
November 14, 1936 – September 12, 2022

Joyce Elaine Mead, age 85, passed away while surrounded by her family Monday, September 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen C. Mead; son, Troy Glascott; parents Wayne and Doris Henry; and brother, Darwin Henry. She will be deeply missed by her children Jeffrey (Kelly) Glascott, Scott (Nancy) Glascott, Tamera Glascott; grandchildren Kenneth, Kendera (Chris), Kaylee, Kerissa, Angela (Chris), Melissa (Sam), Brandon, Kevin (Kaila), Ashley (Klint), Caitlin (Nick), Joshua, Nicholas (Brittany), Tyler, Drew; 19 great-grandchildren; special friend, Jim Martin; and many extended family and friends.
Joyce was very family oriented and loved her family unconditionally and selflessly. Her home was always open to all. Most importantly, she cherished her faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home - Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, MI 49348. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 4125 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior the service.
