Throughout her life, Judy was a beacon of love and friendship. She nurtured deep connections with her family and effortlessly formed lasting relationships with those she met. She found delight in life's simple pleasures: the tranquility of fishing, the challenge of golf, the camaraderie over a deck of cards, the creativity in her cooking, and the solace found within the pages of a good book.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her loving daughters Kelly Lee Cook and Susan Rae Wheeler; stepson, Ronald Cecil; and sister, Karen (Wilbur) Ringnalda. Judy's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Cory, Cydne, Colin, Clint, Aubrey, Jesse, and Christopher; as well as her many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends. She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband, Stuart Wheeler; son, David Wheeler; sisters Bette Tein and Leota Zywicki; and brother, William Schebergen, who all preceded her in death.
A memorial service celebrating Judy’s life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Wayland VFW Post #7581, 735 S. Main St., Wayland, MI 49348. They kindly request that any memorial contributions be directed to PAWS with a Cause or to a charity that was meaningful to Judy. Memories and messages are welcomed at www.kubiakcookwayland.com on the family’s online guest book.
Judy's presence will be profoundly missed, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
