

He was born on February 15, 1964, in Park Ridge, Illinois, to William Robert Ridge and June Barbara (Robinson) Ridge. Early in his life, his family moved to Three Rivers, Michigan, where Ken grew up enjoying activities on the many surrounding lakes and rivers of the area.
Kenneth graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1982. After high school, he served in the United States Army at Fort Carson, Colorado, as a communication operator. He later attended Oklahoma Baptist College, earning a bachelor’s degree in pastoral theology in 1996.
Throughout his life, Kenneth worked in ministry, transportation, manufacturing, and public service. Following his ordination at Liberty Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas, in 1996, he served in several ministry positions, including associate pastor at Fair Avenue Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas; senior pastor at Bible Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas; and assistant pastor at Landmark Baptist Church in Petoskey, Michigan.
In addition to his ministry work, Kenneth held positions with Keenan Pipe & Supply, the City of Gainesville, Southwest Independent School District, Vulcan Materials, Hyatt, International Automotive Components, and Vaupell Midwest Molding.
Kenneth was of the Baptist faith.
Ken is survived by his son, Grant Ridge of Leavenworth, Kansas; brothers Michael Ridge (Delia) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Larry Ridge (Sonhui) of Wayland, Michigan; brother-in-law, Tom Ball of Constantine, Michigan; grandsons Jameson and Logan Ridge; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia Slentz.
A graveside service and interment will be held at Red Hill Cemetery in Mustang, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Michael Ridge officiating.
