Laurie Ann Davis

Laurie Ann Davis, age 53, of Wayland, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Rockinger; and sister, Teri Kolehouse. She will be lovingly missed by Terry, her spouse of 28 years; daughters Kennedy (Jon) Wessels, and Mika Davis; step-daughter, Tara (Erik) Bressette; five grandchildren Morgan, Hailee, Temperance, William, and Josie; father, Edward Rockinger; special sister-in-law, Bev Caruso; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Laurie graduated from Ferris State with a business degree. She put in 30 years as an engineer in the automotive industry. She loved spending time outdoors with family and “Budder” … her beloved dog. Laurie had a passion for cooking. She loved to tell her kids and grandkids “love you more” -- it was her favorite saying. Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Open Bible Church, 3065 Alger St., SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. In honor of Laurie and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the Davis family with final expenses.
