Mary Lou Alice (Wangler) Nickels-Button, age 84 of Martin, passed away May 28, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 14 years Keith Button; her children: Mary Ellen (Ron) Schwenn, Denise (Andy) Stennett, Geri (Richard) Kelley, Chris Nickels, and Lori Nickels; step-children: Robert Button and Kathy (Dale) Myaard; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, sister Helen (George) Snyder and brother Dallas Wangler, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years William Nickels. Mary Lou was a graduate of Aquinas College and was a life member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Wayland and was a former Lioness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:00 PM, Noon at St. Therese Catholic Church, 430 S. Main St Wayland, MI 49348, with Father Christian Johnston officiating. Friends may visit with Mary Lou's family from 10:00 AM-Noon, prior to mass at the church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
