Finding the words to describe such an extraordinary and eclectic woman is hard. She was a loving mom, Mema, Gigi, daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend to so many - although I think she loved her role as Mema and Gigi the most! Throughout her life, she was a business owner, bartender, manager, and collector of anything and everything. She will be missed by us all, but knowing she’s no longer in pain, and finally with Tania, will help heal our hearts.
Michele will be remembered by her daughter, Danielle (Michael Jr.) Smith; grandchildren Peter (Taylor) Daleo II, Nicolas Daleo, Michael Smith III, Isabella Smith; great-grandchildren Peter Daleo III, Louis Daleo; and many friends and extended family.
Michele is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Robinson; daughter, Tania Daleo; parents Michael Terban and Marian Bucalo Terban.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate her life privately. In memory of Michele and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kids Without Cancer of Detroit. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.kubiakcookwayland.com in Michele’s online guestbook.
Until I see you again, Momma, “I love you more…and I’ll be here!”
