Nicklas J. Gorodenski, age 84, passed away March 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nickola and Valeria Gorodenski. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Cynthia (George) Owsley, Debra Kilmartin, and John (Kathy) Gorodenski; grandchildren: Kelly, Michelle, Denny, Becky, Jillian, Lacey, Kacey and Nicole; great-grandchildren: Bianca, Madeline, and Allie; brothers and sisters: Eva Lewis, Barbara Baldwin (Art Osterwald), Paul Gorodenski and Joseph (Elaine) Gorodenski; and several nieces and nephews. Nick retired from Bradford White. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Nick loved stock car racing, as an owner and a driver from the 1950s to the 1990s. He also loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed going to the casinos. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 1 PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Hastings, Michigan.
