Norman “Norm” Francis Bailey, age 88, passed away at his home in Plainwell, MI. Norm loved spending time outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, boating, or golfing, he rarely sat still. Norm also enjoyed mushroom hunting, even if the hunt turned up dry on occasion! He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions and loved to watch them play. He will be deeply missed.
Norm is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Bailey; children Lynn (Mark) Horning, Karen (Doug) Pollich, Chip (Sandy) Bailey; stepchildren Mike Cherette, Teresa (Gerry) Schulz; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends. Norm’s quick wit and sense of humor will also be missed by his two best friends Norm Jenny and Pat Hagan.
Norm is preceded in death by his parents Norm and Frances Bailey; stepdaughter, Lisa and Tim Allen; grandsons Justin Bailey and Rob Pueblo.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. In memory of Norm and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice of Allegan or a charity of one’s choosing.
