Born and raised in Wayland, Ron graduated from Wayland High School in 1958. He enjoyed everything outdoors - flowers, deer, nature, and the woods. Ron had a clever sense of humor and was always able to put a smile on anyone’s face. Most importantly, his pride and joy was his family and he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Jones; sister, Wilma Landon; and brother, Russell Jones. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Nadine (Craig) Stevenson, Norine Butcher; grandchildren Jared (Jessica) Stevenson, Caleb (Sarah) Stevenson, Megan Butcher, Sarah (Bryce) Gould; great-grandson, Braydon Gould; and many extended family and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a time to visit with Ron’s family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, MI 49348.
