He was a 1952 graduate of Wayland High School. He was married to his wife, Sonia, for 65 years before her passing in 2022. He was a truck driver, milk hauler, plumber, Wayland township supervisor, and he worked for the Gun Lake Sewer Authority until his retirement. He and Sonia loved to travel in their motorhome around the country. He also loved flea markets and antique malls, but most of all his family.
He is survived by four children Randy (Cheryl), Becky (Ken) Glaspie, Ryan (Skeeter), and Risa (Richard) Wildeman. He had 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A sister, Rose Boggs, and brother-in-law, Jim Bridleman, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his wife Sonia; mom and dad; and two brothers Richard and Ron Hines.
