I have known Shelly for over 30 years. In fact, it was because of her that I met my husband. When I would come into CSI, if he was there, Shelly would always move his drink and/or dinner next to me in an attempt to get us to know one another. Every Sunday for years, she would take care of all of us at Bunker Hill for breakfast, many of us nursing headaches from being out the night before! Later in life, whenever we ran into one another, there was always a big hug and catching up on kids and grandkids. Shelly obviously loved her family very much. She will be missed by all of us. Rest in Peace, Shell.

My sweet Shelly, how I loved you. You’ve been here for me since I was born. I’ll never forget sleepovers at your house. I’ll never forget the way you loved me and everyone you knew so whole heartedly. You loved unconditionally. You would do anything for those you loved in a second. There’s too many things I could list about our memories together. You were a second mom to me. I loved everything about you but especially the joy you brought to get togethers and family gatherings. You deserved so much more life. You will always hold a special place in my heart, I will never forget the way you loved me and the way you loved your family. I’m so thankful for all the memories we’ve shared and for even getting to work with you. I’m broken but happy that you no longer have to be in pain. I’ll love you forever, until we meet again.

Your smile would light up any room that you walked into, you where always so kind, caring and loving. My heart is broke into a lot of pieces right now but the memories that I have of you will help me to heal. You where the best sister in the world I will miss you so much my Chinese Indian sister (this is our little inside joke) this is not goodbye but until we meet again. I love you to the moon and back.
