Shirley Ann Shue

Shirley A. Shue, age 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 22, 2017. She was born November 22, 1940 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of McCurdy and Thelma (Patrick) Hall. Shirley was a lifetime member of the Wayland Free Methodist Church and volunteered her time teaching Sunday school for many years. Shirley is survived by her children Ken (Ann) Shue, Tammy (Jim)  Sipkema, JoLynn (Glenn) Woodrum, Kim Shue, Carrie (Travis) Peet, Kandi (Nathan) Jenne; her grandchildren Jimmy (Chrissy) Sipkema, Josh (Morgan) Shue, Samantha Shue, Bobbie Jo Shue, Joey Draper, Justin Draper, Chris Draper, Travy Peet, Jordan Peet, Tyler Woodrum and Sadie Jenne; her great-grandchildren Alexis, Kylee, Ryan Sipkema, Kenny, Lenny and Colton Shue; six sisters; six sisters-in-law along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith; son Chris; her parents; three brothers; three sisters and one grandson Ryan. Funeral services to honor Shirley will be 1 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Wayland Free Methodist Church – 502 West Superior St., Wayland, Michigan. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Shirley’s friends will meet with friends and relatives from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Sunday, February 26 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel – 312 N. Main St., Wayland, Michigan and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. To honor Shirley, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Wayland Free Methodist Church.
