Troy David Brendemihl, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2026, while surrounded by his family and friends. Troy had a caring and kind heart for others – he loved preparing and cooking meals for his friends, family, and those in need. Troy was an avid supporter of veterans and spent much of his time volunteering at various organizations. He also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, and camping. Troy was a member of the NCO Club, Moose Lodge, and Creston VFW 3023. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Troy is survived by his father, August Brendemihl; significant other, Janice Miedema; siblings Karie (Scott) Sipkema, Dawn (Joe) Truax, Lisa (Todd) Cooper, Lori (Scott) Cooper; best friend, Tony Moore; special friend, Diane Maddox; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Brendemihl, and sister, Tracy Brendemihl.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for Troy will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Wyoming Moose Lodge #763, 2630 Burlingame Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
