Anne Kenney

She was born on November 4, 1933 to Gene and Dorothy Harsha. She was a 1951 graduate of Sistersville High School. She obtained her nursing degree after she finished raising her family and worked as a hospice nurse in Naples, FL. She was a wonderful painter and avid reader. She loved animals and was a devoted wife and mother to her five sons. She loved to laugh and will be remembered for her great stories.

She is survived by her three sons, Kevin Kenney (Eydie), William Kenney (Julie), and Christopher Kenney (Deidre); eight grandchildren, Kaitlin, Patrick, Travis, Katie, Christopher, Matthew, Rachael, and Kelsey; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Lily, and Mikayla; two siblings, Jim Harsha and Dorothy Lockett; and daughter-in-law, Mary Kenney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo "Pat" Kenney; and two sons, Thomas P. Kenney and David G. Kenney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to WVU Medicine Children's Hospital.
