Donna S. Huffman

Born on May 1, 1933, in Millsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Dorothy P. (Fischer) Seals. A proud 1987 graduate of Waynesburg College, Donna earned her bachelor’s degree and built a long, distinguished career as Deputy Controller for Greene County. Known for her sharp mind, integrity, and unwavering dedication, she served the community with distinction until her retirement in 2010. On May 30, 1964, she married the love of her life, Paul W. Huffman, and together they created a home filled with love and laughter. Donna was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesburg, where her faith and warm spirit touched many. She poured her energy into the Greene County Democratic Committee for more than 20 years and remained a fiercely loyal Pittsburgh Penguins fan—rarely missing a chance to cheer on her favorite team. Above all, Donna was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished every moment with her family.

She is survived by her son, Kurtis Huffman (Jill) of Bonita Springs, FL; stepdaughter, Pamela Streb (John) of Lewiston, NY; grandchildren, Cameron Huffman and Payton Huffman of Murrysville, PA, Paula Wilhelm of Princeton, TX, and Sara Lewis of Georgetown, KY; and five great-grandchildren, Lucy, Luca, Leo, Everly, and Adelaide. She is also survived by her sisters, Becky Walker of Waynesburg, PA, and Judy Campbell of Geneva NY, along with many nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Paul; son, Kirby Virgin; an infant son; an infant daughter; stepdaughter Cindy Dean of Erie, PA; brother John Seals of Newton Falls, OH; sisters Rosalyn Newlon of WV; Kay Nowlin of CA; and Sue Ellen Kingan of Jefferson, PA.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, May 27 from 11 AM to the time of service at 1 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370; burial will be private.
