

Mildred F. McNett of Mifflintown, formerly of Waynesburg died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her home which she shared with her daughter Cristy and son-in law Rich, who were her caregivers for the past 3 years.
She was born November 6, 1927 at Metz, West Virginia, a daughter of the late James Stantford Price and Eva Lee Byard Price.
On March 30, 1946, she married Virgil I. McNett who died August 18, 1971.
Mrs. McNett received her accounting degree from Penn Commercial School in 1988. In her early years Mildred worked as a buyer for the JC Penney Co. and after moving to Waynesburg worked at Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg. She later worked in card merchandising for American Greeting.
While living in Waynesburg she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mildred enjoyed camping, gardening and sewing but her greatest love was the time spent with her grandchildren and family. Mildred had a smile that could light up a room. In her quiet moments, Mildred took pleasure in reading and tending her flower gardens.
Surviving are a daughter, Cristy Yoders (Rich)of Mifflintown, with whom she had made her home; three sons, Dennis McNett (Johnna) of Carmichaels, Jeffrey McNett (Tammy) of Mather, and Darin McNett (Crystal)of Waynesburg; 11 grandchildren; Chassity White, Tanya Hamilton, Janelle White, Eva Nowaskey, Zeb, Natalie, Virgil Robert, Allen, Brian, Keith, and Joshua McNett; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Deceased are an infant daughter Donna Sue McNett; five brothers, Curtis, Armin, Burl, and Juniour Price, and Kenneth Efaw; and four sisters, DeEtta Price, Lillian Scott, Neva Price, and Martha Price.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 with Rev. William Sukolsky officiating followed by burial at Greene County Memorial Park.
