She was born January 9, 1953 in Waynesburg a daughter of Hazel Beatrice McNeely Robinson of Washington and the late Glenn Henry Robinson.
On October 30, 1976, she married Daniel E. Bailey who survives.
Sharon worked for 44 years with her husband as the office manager and accountant at Bailey’s Steel and Supply.
She was a lifetime resident of the Waynesburg Area.
Her Christian faith was a central part of her life. Sharon was a member of South Hills Bible Chapel in McMurray. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek, where she had served as choir director, pianist, Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher. She gave her time as a volunteer for the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Waynesburg. Sharon also participated in mission trips to Jamaica and Guatemala.
Sharon and her husband Dan went on a trip of a lifetime to Israel, where she was baptized in the river Jordan and walked where Jesus walked. She enjoyed family vacations, especially trips to Disney World. Some of her favorite pastimes were music, tole painting and making crafts.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband are a son, Scott D. Bailey of Carmichaels; a sister, Susan Rayle (James) of Wind Ridge; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
