A.J. Tanet

AJ was born December 13, 1933 in New Orleans Louisiana to Andrew and Genevieve Tanet. He attended John McDonogh High school where he met the love of his life, Carol Saikley. They were married December 21, 1954. They had four children Mark Tanet, Tami (and Charles) Crum, Cindy (and Michael) Johncock and Jay (and Stacy) Tanet before moving to Clear Lake City in 1969.

AJ owned and operated AJ’s Air conditioning and Appliance Company and became well known for his honor and integrity as a trusted name in home appliance repair.

AJ was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. His greatest joys in life were his family and his church. He was an active member of Clear Lake Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years. He also enjoyed wood carving and entered his carvings in many local shows.

He is survived by his wife and children and grand children Aaron, Tyler and Amanda Crum, Colleen, Kerri, and Bailey Tanet. Chelsea and Brett Johncock, Andrew Tanet, Stephanie Hoskins and Ashley McCutcheon and Great Grandchildren Evelyn and Brianna Hoskins and Ilana and Lila McCutcheon

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Andrew Tanet.
