She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on January 12, 1929 to Benjamin J. Owen and G. Ermyn Mansker. She was married to Albert L. Bailey for 15 years.
Alice P.O. Bailey worked for Pump Arts for 32 years and had also worked for Eastern Airlines, Union Carbide, and Grants Machine. She was a member of The International Order of the Rainbow For Girls. She had a passion for reading, traveling, and loved playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Benjamin J. Owen and G. Ermyn Owen, her grandmother; Nellie E. Hindman, her brother; Benjamin G. Owen, her sister; Dorothy J. Miller, her sons; Bert M. Bailey, and Von O. Bailey.
Alice is survived by her 3 daughters; Alison Zuleger, Zona Brown, and Vonda Bailey, her grandchildren; Levon Bailey (Lena West), Amy Nabors (Jody), Phillip Brown (Alison), Paula M. Claussen (Jerry), and Richard McKee. Her great grandchildren; Xander Nabors, Aubree Nabors, Simon Claussen, Charlotte Brown, Owen Brown, Canyon Claussen, Emmett Brown, and Owllyn Claussen.
