Alicia Delia Guillén passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 83 in Kerrville, Texas, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Alicia was a devoted mother-figure to her three nieces, whom she raised as her own children. Her unwavering love and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
Alicia was a gentle, caring, and influential woman who touched the lives of so many people. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In her youth and adult years, she could be heard and seen sitting at the sanctuary piano to welcome parishioners as they would gather for praise and worship. A graduate of Texas Woman’s University, she taught Typing, Business, and Language Arts with a specialization in Special Education.
We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have passed before her, and relishing all the beautiful and vibrant colors that God has created.
