

Barbara Jean Koimn Boulton went to her heavenly home on August 13, 2026. She was born at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas on September 28, 1938. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years Samuel Rufus Boulton, her son Samuel Craig Boulton, her grandparents Martin Luther and Fannie Bunn, her mother Dorothy Imhoff, her father Roy Julius Koimn; special parents, Jake M and Edna Jousan, three sisters Dorothy Joan Sedberry, Geraldine Jousan Corbell, and Joyce Jousan Miles of Houston, TX and one grandson, Bobby Crum.
She was an active member of Freedom Fellowship of Pearland, TX. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir at First Baptist Church, downtown Houston; Bandera Baptist Church, Bandera, TX; South Park Baptist Church, Houston, TX; Faith Baptist Church, Pearland, TX; First Baptist Church, Pearland, TX; and Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Maydelle, TX.
Barbara worked outside the home many years doing secretarial work in and around the Houston area. Her longest employment, which she enjoyed and fulfilled her the most, was with the Forrest Park Funeral Homes and Cemeteries. After retirement and move to Maydelle, TX she enjoyed gardening, canning, reading, sewing crocheting, and other needle work. Helping to raise three of her grandchildren, Amber Jordan, Charlie, Brandon, and Alexis Jean was a very special joy to her.
Barbara is survived by her son Craig‘s wife, Stephanie Boulton, Pearland, TX, Ronald Edward Boulton and wife Michelle of Thornton, CO; and one daughter Vicky Lynn Boulton. She is also survived by two sisters Patricia Koimn of Bandera, and Sandra and husband Glenn White of Keizer, OR; two brothers Roy M. Koimn and wife Sherrie of Aurora, CO and Robert Lee Koimn of Bandera, TX. She also leaves one aunt Helen Koimn Renner of Spring, TX and one cousin, Janis Kay Franklin and Patti of Pearland, TX; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, twelve nieces, seven nephews and a host of special friends, including those from her 1957 graduating class of Bandera High School in Bandera, TX.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Committal will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
