Barbara Bull, a longtime resident of Pasadena, passed away on December 23, 2013 after a brief illness. While we miss her dearly, we know she is happy, healthy, and with her heavenly father for eternity.
She was born on March 4, 1940 to Victor and Frances Jones. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart Jerry Bull in August of that year. She attended Massey Business School, where she studied to be a secretary and bookkeeper. Jerry worked at A&G Food Center for sixteen years before he and Barbara purchased it. Together, they owned and operated A&G for over twenty-five years, but Barbara’s primary goals in life were to be a wife and mother. In these callings, she excelled, leaving a legacy of children and grandchildren that love the Lord.
Her father Victor Jones preceded her in death. Her husband Jerry Bull, mother Frances Jones, brother Ronald Jones, children Debbie Mitchell, Judy Tabuena, Vicki Raabe, Amy Bull, and David Bull, as well as their spouses, seventeen grandchildren, and a great grandchild on the way survive her.
Her favorite scripture was Romans 8:28. "We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
Services will be held at Memorial Baptist Church in Pasadena at 10:00 am on December 28. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 6901 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
