

Beatrice Alcala, 73, of Spring, Texas, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015. She was born in Galveston, Texas on October 16, 1942 to Margarito and Eva Torres. She was married to Richard Alcala for 53 years. Beatrice had a passion for music, traveling with her children and most of all being a Ma. She is preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Melissa Marie Alcala. She is survived by her husband, Richard Alcala; son, Robert Alcala; daughters Dina Stewart and husband Brad, Annette Lovelace and husband Steve, Angela McHugh and husband Todd; 9 grandchildren Brandon Stewart, Elizabeth Lovelace, Ty McHugh, Jonathan Alcala, Teresa McHugh, Christopher Lovelace, Tara McHugh, Brittany Lovelace, and Jordan Stewart; 4 great-grandchildren Makenna Rose Alcala, Melissa Belle Howle, Magelina Marie McHugh, and Maddison Amber McDonald. The family will accept friends Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The Celebration of Beatrice’s Life will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Evangelist Catholic Church with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
