Bessie “Betty” Hortense Duplechin was called to rest on January 24, 2018 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenor Joseph Duplechin; children, Judy Ann Cruitt and Christopher Earl Powell, Sr.; grandchild, Terry Lynette Derry; nephew, Timothy Joseph Cotharn; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Bessie is survived by her sister, Alice Ann Cotharn (James); children, Larry Riley Cruitt, Sr. (Kay), Catherine Naomi Wylie (Don), Mary Deborah Rainey (Craig) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest at Forest Park East on Monday January 29th at 10 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, Bessie requested that donations be made to Santa Fe Baptist Church.
