Betty Lou Farmer Hargrove, 89, of Seabrook Texas, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, on April 23, 2018. Betty Lou was born in Cullman Alabama on January 7, 1929. Parents were Robert Lee Farmer and Eva Elizabeth Noneaker Farmer. She was married to Lieutenant Colonel William Bell Hargrove Sr., retired USAF for 68 years. Betty Lou attended Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee. Betty Lou was a homemaker, wife and mother of five children, grandmother to five grandchildren and great grandmother to four great grandchildren.

Betty Lou was a devout Christian with a passion for reading, gardening, music, painting, and devoted to her family. She also volunteered for numerous charities including Muscular Dystrophy, Lunar Rendezvous, March of Dimes, Prison Ministry and the Boys Home.

Betty Lou was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee Farmer, Eva Elizabeth Farmer and her second born grandson Brandon Taylor Hargrove.

She is survived by her husband Lieutenant Colonel William Bell Hargrove Sr retired USAF, and her five children, Elizabeth Hargrove, William Bell Hargrove Jr., and his wife Gloria Jean, Bonnie Lou Hargrove Rowlands, and husband Thomas W. Rowlands Jr., Tina Lea Hargrove Carey, and husband Robert W. Carey Jr., and Janis Marie Hargrove. Betty Lou is also survived by four grandchildren William Bell Hargrove III, Valerie Jean Hargrove Watkins, and husband Matthew, Elizabeth Noneaker Rowlands Carrao and wife Cara and Mary Katherine Rowlands. She is also survived by four great grandchildren Kyle Steven Hargrove, Mikayla Brook Hargrove, Kianna Holly Hargrove, and Matthew Allen Watkins.
