Bevard M. Keele

Bevard M. Keele of Pearland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 90. Bevard was born in El Dorado, Texas on November 23, 1929, to Paul B. Keele and LaFayette Snell Keele. Bevard graduated from Lubbock High School. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and then graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas with a degree in Business Administration. While attending the University of Texas, he met his beloved future wife, Betty Wren. They were married on September 1, 1950. After his graduation from Texas Tech Bevard and Betty moved to the Houston area. Soon he began his 33 year career with Crown Central Petroleum, an American Oil Company based in Baltimore, MD. He started as an accountant and progressed up through the company and became an executive over the transport of foreign oil before retirement in 1984. Bevard and Betty spent most of their married life in Pearland, Texas where they raised their 3 children.
Bevard was preceded in death by wife, Betty; daughter, Beverly Jo; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Keele; grandson, Aaron Paul Keele; parents, Paul and LaFayette Keele and brother, Paul B. Keele.
He is survived by children, Beverly Bledsoe, Starla Jones and Lanny Keele; grandchildren, Amanda Judd, Laura Bass, Chris Jones, Micah Keele and Rachael Orr and 15 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Parker Keele, Lanny Keele, Darrell Bledsoe, Ted Bass, Andy Judd, Robert Jones, Micah Keele (honorary pallbearer) and Christopher Jones (honorary pallbearer).
