

Robert Loren Lake, 59, of Pearland, Texas was a fun-loving hard working man who loved his family dearly and looked forward to all family and friend gathering. Bob loved the outdoors, enjoyed water craft, water skiing, snow skiing and rafting. Bob also spent a great number of years perfecting his golf game, and enjoyed belonging to a local dance group. Bob worked hard at his career, and played as hard as he worked. He lived in California, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas during his lifetime, and always stayed in contact with all of his friends. Bob enjoyed the peace and serenity that he found belonging to the Clear Lake Church of Christ and the numerous friends he made through the fellowship of the Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Alice Tyler Lake, his children Chad Lake and his wife Alexandra Lake, and Taylor Lake; grandchildren Chloe Lake, Christian Lake and Maya Gailey; parents Milton D. Lake and Mary Lou Lake; sister Linda Cheek and her husband Jack Cheek; niece Paulette Dawson and her husband Chris Dawson; niece Jennifer Cheek; and nephew Michael Cheek. Bob is also survived by his first wife Jackie Adams Lelsz and his second wife Deanie Whynot Lake.
Funeral Services will be held at Clear Lake Church of Christ, 938 El Dorado Blvd., Clear Lake, Texas at 10:00 am on Tuesday December 27, 2011. Interment will be at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas.In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of Robert Loren Lake.
