Jesse “Buddy” Bowen, 94, of Houston, passed away April 10, 2016. He was born in Cumby, Texas on July 27, 1921 to Joe and Alice Bowen; grew up in East Texas and Galveston, Texas and married Louise in 1946.
Buddy owned his own business, Bowen Piano Repair, and loved fixing pianos. He was a member of the Army Air Corps and a Veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, baby brother (1930), his son Joel Robert (1992), sister Lorena and sister Pauline.
Buddy is survived by Louise, his wife of 69 years, daughter Jana Bowen and Christina Olson, his grandson Ian Darrell Bowen, nieces, nephews and his “adopted daughter” Candy Rutledge and their families.
Visitation: Sat., April 16, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. and interment at 1:30 p.m.
