Burle E. Keele

Burle Ennis Keele, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on February 2, 2016. He was born in Odessa, Ector County, Texas on October 13, 1928 to Freelen Ganaway and Lillian Emma Keele. He was married to Doris June Cate Keele for 64 years. Burle work for Gulf Oil in oil exploration, Olds Cadillac in automotive and Continental Airlines. He was a member of Church of Christ and had a passion for Ham Radio, computers, family, motorcycles and aircraft.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris June Keele; father, Freelen Keele; mother, Lillian Emma Keele; and daughter, Leeta Gay Keele.

Burle is survived by his daughter, Judy Brown and husband David; daughter, Joy Nichols and husband Rylan; son, Richard Keele and wife Carolyn; son, Terry Keele and wife Jerilyn; son; Kirby Keele and wife Linda; 10 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; and 3 great-granddaughters.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The Celebration of Burle’s Life will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
