Carlos Jose "Papi" Ramos Oquendo went to be with the Lord September 7, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Cuba November 20, 1924. He is survived by his 5 sons, Jose Luis Ramos and wife Alicia, Carlos and wife Elizabeth, Arturo Rene and wife Sandra, Victor and wife Maricella, and Carlos Nicolas and wife Herlinda; 4 daughters, Ines and husband Kenneth, Caridad and husband Lazaro, Concepcion, and Ana; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. "Papi" is also survived by sisters, Ana Ramos and Caridad Alvarez and husband Ramon. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday September 11, 2010 at Forest Park East Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
